Every Rainbow Box contains:

• A variety of hand-selected, grief-conscious gifts (usually around 3-5  items)
• Something sweet (chocolate or another treat)
• "Coping Card" of the month: a touch of grief coaching, this convenient, pocket-sized card offers helpful tips on coping with loss
• A letter from grief coach, widow, and founder of Rainbow Box, Mary Reas-Oden
• (Optional) Personalized message: If you wish to include a note of your own, enter your personalized message at checkout.

What is Rainbow Box?

Rainbow Box is a subscription-style sympathy gift designed for widows and other women who have experienced major loss. It comes in a beautiful, rainbow-themed package. Every box is filled with "gifts and guidance," in the form of a few personal care items, a greeting card, and inserts with helpful information about coping with grief. 

Why a subscription?

Many people find themselves surrounded with support during the initial stages of loss, but become lonely and isolated in the months and years that follow. This happens as others go back to their normal lives, but the griever has to learn to live with grief for the rest of theirs. Rainbow Box helps relieve that problem by providing a method of ongoing support the griever can count on.  So whether it's for yourself or a friend, you can trust Rainbow Box to show up and be there not just during the initial wave of shock, but throughout the grief journey

When will the box arrive?

Boxes usually arrive in the first week of each month.

Note: Initial orders made by the 20th of each month will arrive at the beginning of the very next month. Initial orders made after the 20th (i.e. the 21st or later) will arrive in the beginning of the month after next. 

If you need something right away and are purchasing outside of the optimal order window, you might consider adding a Single-Box option to your order. The Single-Box option (AKA the Original Rainbow Box) usually ships within 3-7 business days from when it's ordered, regardless of the time of month its ordered. As that is a one-box option, we still highly recommend purchasing a subscription box to your order, if you're looking to have the benefits of an ongoing subscription.
