Rainbow Box is Grief Relief Delivered
About
Our mission is to support grieving women beyond the initial shock of loss.
Rainbow Box was founded by Mary Reas-Oden, MSW, former crisis and hospice worker, and widow. She created this support organization, because 1) she knew what it was like to be widowed, and 2) she knew what it was like to want to help a widowed friend.
Here's what worried her:
For many widows (and other grieving women), there is a lot of support in the initial stages of loss. From the funeral to the meals, to the visits and flowers, friends and family often do a wonderful job taking care of their grieving loved one.
Unfortunately, shortly after the funeral ends and the flowers fade, few know what else to do for her! Even the widow herself is often unsure how to move forward.
Here's where Rainbow Box comes in:
WE HELP WIDOWS MANAGE DURING THE WEEKS AND MONTHS AFTER THE INITIAL SHOCK HAS WORN OFF.
Subscription Boxes:
Through Rainbow Box's monthly subscription service, widows receive a treasured source of regular, ongoing support. Each box includes guidance on grief, helpful coping tools, and several self-care gifts. Receiving and opening this box feels like finding a rainbow in the midst of a storm.
Grief Coaching:
Our founder, Mary, is an amazing Grief Coach. She knows how to talk with women about incredibly hard topics, during incredibly hard times. Not only does she have professional counseling experience to draw from, but she also has first-hand experience losing a husband. While every loss is unique, there is something powerful about talking the talk with someone you know has actually walked the walk.
Rainbow Box is For You
Whether you've come for the grief coaching or are just here for the Rainbow Box subscription, we are so happy you found us and look forward to supporting you or someone you love on the grief journey.
